Development of augmented reality applications that can run on smartphone or tablet devices with Android/IoS operating system. In an augmented reality application, the target image is, in fact, used to position the virtual 3D object in the scene. In particular, the application starts the camera of the exploited device and shows everything it records on the display. A special software module constantly processes the image in search of the target. When the target enters the camera's field of view, the application renders 3D digital replicas of the instruments by superimposing them on the marker in the scene captured by the device, thus creating the effect of augmented reality. These replicas are interactive and constantly communicate with real objects.
